Carl Peach's Ten Million Step Challenge

At 59 Years Old I Lost My Eyesight

Following a routine eye-test, my doctors discovered that I have a hereditary and incurable defect in my optic nerve. As a result, I now live with a permanent visual blizzard and have difficulty navigating the world and performing the simplest of tasks. I’ve faced many challenges throughout my life; blindness is proving to be one of the hardest. I’ve chosen to embrace this latest challenge and keep striding forward regardless.

Motivational Speaker

If you’re looking for a motivational speaker to inspire your audience with real-life stories, move them emotionally, and create ‘pin drop’ moments, I’m your man.
I prefer to work within a 50-mile radius of my home in Kettering, Northamptonshire, but potentially, I’m open to speaking anywhere in the UK. The topics I speak about are all related to personal challenges I’ve faced and how I deal with them. They include:

This is my latest challenge, and I’m still learning. My attitude towards it remains positive, upbeat and determined.

For most of my life I was addicted to gambling. In 2017 I made a conscious choice to change my life and I haven’t gambled since.

I weighed over 27 stone (171 kg) and could barely move. Whilst it’s still a work in progress, food no longer controls my life.

From poor health and mobility to half-marathon runner and weight training enthusiast, moving forward one step at a time.

Through transformative personal experiences and self-reflection, I have turned deep insecurities into unshakeable confidence.
